Patti May’s Artist Statement – June 2025

Hi, I am Patti May and I have always been drawing and painting. I grew up in Miami, Florida and one of my first memories is of walking around the Coconut Grove Art Show with my parents.

My artwork here reflects the curiosity and awe I have about landscapes, the ocean, color, patterns, and animals.

Thank you for taking a look at my work. I hope it inspires you to look a little longer at the natural world in all its amazing variety.
