Michele moved to the beautiful community of Sebastian in December 2018 and is enjoying every minute of it!
She is a retired photographer and photo restoration artist from Massachusetts with 25 years of professional photographic experience. Over the years she has worked for major studios as well as accepting freelance assignments. Additionally, she taught Photoshop classes through a number of adult education venues in Massachusetts.
She continues to work on freelance projects, digitizing and restoring old photographs and negatives.
Although primarily a photographer and digital artist, Michele also enjoys painting and drawing in acrylics, oil, pen and ink and graphite.

A painter from the age of two. Sheila found a can of brilliant red paint and gleefully applied it to anything she could: the garage, the German Shepherd, the barn. She wondered why her dad did not share in her enthusiasm.
In the second grade of Catholic school, Sheila and her classmates were told to draw a picture of what they wanted to be when they grew up. While most of the students drew pictures of nuns and priests, Sheila drew a picture of a cartoonist for Mad Magazine. Her mother got a concerned call from Mother Superior.
Still, she was not dissuaded. Her ebullient paintings reflect the influence of O’Keefe’s erotic rhythm and Pollack’s spontaneity and application of layers.
Since moving to Florida, Sheila has been working closely with world renowned artist, Frits Van Eeden. His influence has greatly impacted her work.
She teaches both acrylic and oil painting, preferring abstract, palette knife, and figurative. The cartooning and collage work are the bonus classes, for fun.
Murals have become her latest passion, created in Longboat Key, Naples, Palm Beach, Melbourne, and Sebastian, FL. Also, her mural work may be seen in CT, NYC, RI, and MA.
Stephanie J. Lovallo is an award-winning artist who earned her BFA in Painting from Florida Atlantic University. Additionally, she holds an MS in Science for Emotional Handicapped from Nova University SE, and Guidance Counseling Certification from Barry University in Miami.
Stephanie's paintings are a reflection of her love of color and dimension. She prefers to include three-dimensional items in her work, which many times are repurposed, antique or "found" objects. Many of her creations are whimsical, with some thematic in a musical sense, and always very interesting and exciting.
Since retiring from the Broward County, Florida school system and joining the Sebastian River Art Club, her passion for art has grown along with her success in the art scene. Stephanie enjoys making art out of almost anything including furniture, ironing boards, computer parts, wood, copper sheets, alcohol ink, nautical items and shells, and especially making the old new again. She is an avid collector of religious art and creates her own version of it on canvas and wood. As a former educator, Stephanie has used art as therapy, and continues to do so for herself and for those who love art

Carolyn R. Martel is an award-winning Medical Illustrator and an accomplished artist. Art and science are equally important elements of scientific illustration, which is a specialized form of artistry that combines drawing with scientific education. She received her Master of Science degree in Medical Illustration/Communication from Medical College of Georgia, and a Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Miami. Carolyn is a member of the Association of Medical Illustrators and the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators.
Employed as a Medical Illustrator/Communicator for the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, Baylor College of Dentistry, and Louisiana State University, Carolyn has illustrated surgical books such as Heart Transplant Surgery for David Cooper, M.D. She has illustrated courtroom exhibits for personal injury cases, and surgical procedures for jury educational aids. Carolyn has also done scientific illustration for Mel Fishers Treasure Museum in Key West and Sebastian, Florida, which included pen & ink renderings to scale of gold & silver artifacts recovered from sunken Spanish galleons. Additionally, she was the winner of a contest to design the official Grant-Valkaria town seal.
Carolyn is also an accomplished photographer, whose work has been published in Good Housekeeping Magazine, and her nature photography has been used by the Smithsonian Institution. An avid environmentalist and member of the Sierra Club, her recent focus has been on creating fine art as it relates to preserving nature. "Spiritually," Carolyn says, "I am thankful for my talents, and seek out opportunities to share and educate for the greater good, and the environment ... We are one!"

I am mostly a self-taught artist, whose artistic expression has been enhanced by attending a variety of workshops and classes and experimenting with a wide variety of techniques, subject matter, and media over the last 40+ years.
Additionally, my work has been greatly influenced by 15 years of overseas living, travels both at home and abroad, personal observation, and spiritual growth.
In recent years, my focus and passion have been mainly working with charming or unique architectural images such as quaint villages, rooftops, doors, windows, buildings, etc., as well as with natural landscapes, using primarily watercolor with pen and ink, and sometimes adding other media to the mix, to interpret what I see in my own impressionistic style. This is sometimes accomplished in single, stand-alone pieces, and at other times in multiple images of a similar theme on a single surface which creates a patterning effect.
I have exhibited in both solo and group shows in Bogota, Colombia, Charlotte, North Carolina, Miami, Palm Beach, Fort Pierce and Vero Beach and am currently exhibiting various pieces in a number of local venues as a member of the Sebastian River Art Club.
Kim has over twenty years of experience in watercolor. She’s been a member of Brevard Watercolor Society for 6 years, and Brandon Fine Arts Guild for 15 years.
Kim has recently moved to Barefoot Bay and joined the Sebastian River Art Club. She will be teaching beginner through intermediate students in watercolor.
Pamela Morley is a realist painter working mostly in oils and occasionally acrylics. She began painting in the 1980’s, but it wasn’t until after retiring from the teaching profession, that she would pursue her art career. After painting portraits of her grandchildren and family pets, people and pets soon became her specialty, but landscapes and still lifes are also well represented. Her work has been exhibited at the Frederic Remington Art Museum in Ogdensburg, NY and numerous times and in Sebastian, Florida. Pam and her husband, Tim, split their time living in Northern New York State and the Treasure Coast of Florida.
I retired from IBM after 33 years, and my boyfriend and I decided to move here for our retirement years. We moved from New York to the Vero/Sebastian area in 2017. I have two children and six grandchildren, and I am the second oldest of eight children.
After five years of exploration we found this hidden gem on the east coast; we love it here and haven't looked back.
In 2018 I wanted to pick up a hobby to keep busy and my mind working. Since Art has always interested me, I decided to give it a whirl and, well, I fell in love with it from day one. I am pretty much a self-taught artist for the first two years watching online tutorials, and then I found the SRAC and decided to join and take some classes to help perfect my weakness in shadows and shading. I am in love with watercolor, I picked up on working with Acrylic in 2019, I dabble in pastels, and I do hand crafted and wired Jewelry. Arts and crafts are a delight and keep me very busy.

Ned Noland

Born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, Ned developed a love of outdoors early on in life. He grew up hunting and fishing around the lakes and fields of North Louisiana and never forgot the wonderful sights and sounds of those pristine settings. Ned later began to appreciate fine art after his father became a collector of many several excellent landscape artists including paintings by Texas artist Dalhart Windberg.
After moving to Florida in 1970, Ned continued to appreciate the natural beauty of the Sunshine State, and concurrent with his retirement in 2005 he began to seriously develop his painting skills through workshops and intensive self-study. Helped greatly by his teacher and friend, the late Joan Arnold of Vero Beach, Ned learned to refine his art skills and to continually redefine his artistic goals, while capturing on canvas the unique beauty of tropical Florida. .
Ned's work resides in both private and corporate collections in Florida and around the U.S. He has exhibited in many group and one man shows, and also produces commissioned paintings. His work has won awards at several local art shows and His “St. Johns River” painting recently won first place at the Art-By-The-Sea art show sponsored by the Vero Beach Art Club.
