July 2023 SRAC Art Classes

All classes are $15 for members, $20 for non-members, unless otherwise noted. Please contact the individual teacher to register and for a supply list. Classes may be canceled due to under-attendance.

Masks and Social Distancing are highly recommended. Please help protect yourself as well as our SRAC members and teachers by adhering to this request to wear a mask and social distance while attending classes.

While taking a class, separate tables are available to enable social distancing. Masks (especially for those who are unvaccinated) are highly recommended.

Mixed Media Workshop

Mixed Media Workshop focusing on ideas for combining watercolor and pen with a variety, of other mediums on various surfaces. A variety of examples will be introduced. For this session, you will need:
--- A picture, or pictures, of your choice ... something that inspires you to create. I will also have a wide selection to choose from.
--- Watercolor paper - preferably 140 lb. or 300 lb. cold pressed in size you prefer.
--- Any drawing/painting implements you plan to use with the mediums you're bringing.
--- Black, archival permanent ink pen - Micron, or Faber-Castell are adequate. Both come in various pen point sizes.
--- Any other enhancement mediums of your choosing, such as colored pencil, markers, pastels, acrylics.
